Can you stop politicians from lying?
There’s a big difference between going on TV or radio to talk about government policy and taking those opportunities to disseminate lies. Is it worth going vegan?
After a fair bit of deliberation and procrastination, nine months ago I finally took the plunge and went vegan. Why? Publicity and research suggest that a plant-based diet is healthier than eating meat, fish, dairy products, and anything derived from animals. I wanted to see if my health improved and do my bit for climate change. It was an interesting and eye-opening few months – particularly concerning the world of marketing and big business – but was it worth going vegan?

Decision-makers just drift from one issue to another and neglect foundational problems because they’re boring. That just isn’t right. We need to work on problems scientifically. Sadly, we live in a world of right versus left rather than right versus wrong. Hopefully, some of my musings will strike a chord. (By the way, if you’re under 50, that heading probably won’t mean anything to you!)
