Big plans
I’m currently working on the following projects. I guess you could call them social capitalism as they both stand up financially and have been put together to make a difference to society. One fixes an age-old problem while raising money for good causes, while the other is about making a structural change to the world of marketing and levelling the playing field for small businesses.
The current state of digital marketing is not good for consumer choice and it’s ridiculously expensive and unnecessarily complex for small businesses. It doesn’t need to be.
Nowadays, if you search for a product, it’ll be the same companies that pop up all the time. Wouldn’t it be great if it was easy to search for a product and find it from a local, independent store? Wouldn’t it also be great if a small business didn’t have to pay a ridiculous amount of money on marketing to be found too? Plankton applies to all businesses – whether they’re B2B or B2C.
I started this project a few years ago. As the title suggests, the shiffter is the alternative to the toilet brush, a household cleaning tool which has been around for a hundred years but is generally regarded as pretty gross.
But it also has huge environmental benefits and profits will help sanitation projects and people with gut conditions.
